| SPR # JEIN4MFQ63 | Fixed in 5.0.5 release | |

Product Area: Client Technical Area: Client UI - (Misc - Unknown) Platform:
SPR# JEIN4MFQ63 - A warning message is now displayed when the user has opened a large number of windows, reminding them that they should close some of the open windows in order to avoid running out of resources.
Technote Number: 1087818

Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering, and it was found
that Notes is working as designed. This issue was reported in Software Problem
Report (SPR) JGON4TSM8R. It is probable that this error will also be observed
on the Windows XP platform.
The behavior of the Notes Client under Windows 95 and Windows 98 was altered in
Notes 5.0.5 Client to provide an additional warning message when resources were
running low. This same warning was not applied to other Windows operating
systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows NT, given that their expanded
resources allow a user to open a much greater number of windows.
